The operators of the train known for its role in the Harry Potter films have warned of a delay to the start of their new season. They have applied for a safety exemption to use old-style Mark 1 carriages, which are popular with their customers. However, this application needs to be reviewed by the Office of Rail and Road (ORR). Business group West Highland Chamber has reported that some visitors have cancelled their flights due to uncertainty about the new season's start.
