Man Shot Dead In Hartford; Police Seek Tips: HPD

The Hartford Police Department has identified the victim as Christopher Shannon, 42, of Allen Place, and is seeking public assistance for any information regarding the shooting incident. The Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division have taken over the investigation. This is the second homicide in the city in two days, with a man being charged for the apparent beating death of an elderly woman.
