Exclusive: Eutelsat in talks with India's space agency to boost satellite launch options

European satellite operator Eutelsat is in talks with India's space agency, ISRO, to increase its satellite launch options. The talks are part of an effort to diversify beyond SpaceX and Europe's Ariane rockets. Eutelat merged with OneWeb in 2023, a London-based satellite internet startup that was rescued by Britain and India's Bharti. The company estimates it will spend around 2 billion euros to buy and launch its 440 satellites by 2030.
