Paramount Skydance has recruited Danielle Carney, one of Amazon's top ad sales executives, to become head of U.S. sales for the company. Carney, who has previously overseen sports ad sales for Amazon Prime Video, will start at Paramount Skydanced on March 9. The position will become more crucial as Paramount works to merge with Warner Bros. Discovery. This move is one of the first major staff additions made by Paramount's recently named chief revenue officer, Jay Askinasi, who lacks experience at a mainstream media conglomerate.
