Senate sends DHS funding bill to House; will pay for TSA, not ICE

The Senate has approved funding for most of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), including the TSA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the Coast Guard. However, no funds were allocated for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which was given $75 billion from the Republican tax-cut bill last year. The bill's passage came after President Donald Trump threatened to use emergency powers to pay TSA agents. The House must pass the bill before it can reopen the affected agencies.
