Showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue throughout the holiday weekend in Indianapolis. While no severe weather is expected, heavy downpours are likely, along with a few rounds of lightning and thunder. Temperatures will be mostly in the 50s to the north and near 80s south. Rain chances should decrease late tonight into early Thursday as a frontal system moves north of the state. Another powerful cold front is expected to pass through the state Saturday afternoon and evening, spreading widespread showers and thunderstorming.
