Business People: U.S. Bank named banking and wealth management partner of the NFL

The National Football League (NFL) and Minneapolis-based U.S. Bank have announced a multi-year partnership named as the official bank and wealth management sponsor of the NFL. Current Indiana Hoosiers quarterback Fernando Mendoza will be the bank and financial playmaker. U.N. Bank is Minnesota’s largest by deposit market share and announced that John Stakel has been appointed president. General Mills, Golden Valley, announced the promotion of Jonathan Ness to its chief supply chain officer, effective March 16. Tim Green has been named district director for the SBA Minnesota District Office in Minneapolis effective March 8. WhiteBox Marketing, St. Cloud, announced it received the 2026 American Advertising Awards though AAF Central Minnesota. Gov. Tim Walz announced the appointment of Holli Mayer as District Court Judge in Minnesota's Third Judicial District.
