Patrick Dempsey Says 'Grey's Anatomy' Fame Made Him 'Much More of a Homebody'

Patrick Dempsey, star of Grey's Anatomy, has revealed that fame led to him becoming more introverted and less social. The 60-year-old actor, who played Dr. Derek Shepherd on the show for over a decade, said that the success of the show infringed upon their ability to be social and private. He added that his family now understands the role and appreciate the importance of public appearances.
