The upcoming ITV drama, Believe Me, features established and rising British stars as John Worboys, known as the "Black Cab Rapist". The four-episode series will be directed by Julia Ford and written and executive produced by Jeff Pope, who focuses on the human impact of crimes rather than glorify them. The show follows the story of two women, portrayed by Aimée-Ffion Edwards and Aasiya Shah, who reported sexual assaults by Worboys to London’s Metropolitan Police, who left Worboys undetected for years. The series is expected to premiere on ITV and ITVX in May.
