Report: Biden Admin Hid Planned Parenthood Loan Discussions Using Code Word 'Benghazi'

Iowa Republican Sen. Joni Ernst has accused the Biden administration of concealing its discussions of providing forgivable loans to Planned Parenthood with the codeword "Benghazi". This could violate federal law. Ernst posted a thread on social media showing the Small Business Administration officials discussing the plans in 2021. The loans were intended to help small businesses keep their employees on payroll during COVID shutdowns. The SBA also provided $90 million in forgivable Paycheck Protection Program loans. SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler has also voiced concern about the use of federal funds by Planned Parenthood, which performed a record 434,000 abortions between 2023 and 2024.
