FAA hosts job fairs across Chicago area to recruit air traffic controllers

The U.S. Federal Aviation Commission (FAA) has hosted job fairs across the Chicago area to recruit new air traffic controllers. The shortage of air traffic controller was highlighted during the recent government shutdown. The FAA has opened its online site for applications for air traffic control. Applicants need to be a U.N. citizen between 18-31 years old and have a bachelors degree or one year of work experience. This job fair is often the first exposure for applicants to government work. If successful, applicants will be exposed to thousands of government positions.
