GWAR is set to perform at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, starting on March 19th in their hometown of Richmond, VA. The band's lead vocalist, The Berserker Blothar, predicts that the tour will be a "ritar orgy of death, sex, violence, and rock and roll" with bands GWAR, Soulfly, and King Parrot. Despite the differences between these bands playing on separate days and being in broad daylight, their sets will be limited to a half-hour each, which is not ideal setting for either band as Soulfley has almost 30 years' worth of material that can't be crammed into a short set. Despite this, LEO Weekly's Jamison Land, now of Belushi Speed Ball, was once a member of GWAR and performed on two studio albums and several world tours with the band.
