Lodolo exits early with blister on left index finger

Nick Lodolo, a left-hander for the Cincinnati Reds, was forced to leave his Cactus League game against the Guardians due to a blister on his left index finger. This is not the first time the injury has affected Lodolo; he has previously been on the injured list due to this issue and was activated on July 9. If this issue hinders the team's plans for a six-man rotation, it could change the direction of the season.
