Gridlife's Co-Founder Talks About How Going to Hundreds of Phish Concerts Helped Spawn the Event

Gridlife's co-founder, Chris Stewart, has sold the grassroots motorsports event, launched in 2013, to F=ma, a new company that includes the ID Agency and Racer Magazine. The event combines car culture, racing series, and music festivals. Stewart and Jabaay started Gridlife as a way to bring their separate friend groups together at racetrack. Despite the growing success of Gridlife, Stewart has no plans to majorly expand the event further. He hopes to focus on smaller races rather than big-name tracks, and expanding the calendar.
