St. Paul schools closed Monday; no school for Minneapolis pre-K through 5th grade but e-learning for older students

The Minneapolis Public Schools District and St. Paul Public Schools will not be open on Monday, March 16, following more than 8 inches of snowfall in the Twin Cities. All in-person classes for pre-K through 5th grade will be held virtually, with middle and high school students required to attend. The weather conditions remain a concern for drivers. Anoka-Hennepin Schools, the state's largest school district, will also be open.
