New Orleans airport continues to face long lines, delays as the partial government shutdown continues. Major delays were experienced at various airports, including Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). The airport has reported a shortage of TSA workers due to not being paid due to the shutdown. At one point, TSA PreCheck and CLEAR services were unavailable, leading to waits of up to five hours. MSY leaders predict that the delays will continue while the government shutdown is underway. Many passengers have reported missing their flights due to these delays.
