Apple CEO Tim Cook is set to step down from his position in September, following 15 years in the role. Kirsten Korosec, Sean O'Kane, and Anthony Horowitz discussed the transition on TechCrunch's Equity podcast. They highlighted how Apple has changed since Cook took over from Steve Jobs in 2011, and how incoming CEO John Ternus will face challenges. While Cook has given TERNus a strong “running start” as the company’s numbers continue to rise, they also highlighted that his operations strategy changed whole economies. The question is whether this is a good or bad move for Ternuss, as he is still a key figure in Apple's relationship with the Trump administration.
