The Los Angeles Angels defeated the Cincinnati Reds 10-2, marking their seven-game losing streak at Great American Ball Park. Jorge Soler hit a grand slam in the eighth inning, Zach Neto and Josh Lowe also homered. Jack Kochanowicz, who only allowed one run and two hits over seven innings, was the best of the team. The Angels improved to within a league-wide standing of 10 after 14 games. The Reds' Chase Burns gave up five earned runs, seven hits and four walks over five 1/3 innings.
