Freddy Peralta has ‘no problem’ pitching with added rest as he keeps passing on wisdom to Mets

New Mets ace Freddy Peralta is set to start Opening Day and has expressed no problem with pitching with added rest, as long as it is communicated early. Despite a recent game showing his swing-and-miss ability and lack of velocity, Peralata remains confident. He is also teaching other Mets starters, including Christian Scott, who is trying to learn from PeralTA's experience. Scott praised Peralra's consistency and ability to stay healthy throughout the season. Over the previous three seasons, Pereta has made at least 30 starts, had 200-plus strikeouts and made two All-Star teams.
