Riverside County is experiencing the warmest winter on record, with temperatures expected to reach 100 degrees across most of the county. A hot, dry upper-level ridge is forecast to move over the region, which could bring significant heat. Despite this, most of Southern California remains hot and dry through the weekend. A heat advisory is in effect across western Riverside County from 10 a.m. to 8pm. The National Weather Service has high confidence in continued well-above-normal temperatures and dry conditions next week. From December 2025 through February 2026, Riverside experienced an average temperature of 58.7, the county's warmest ever average.
