The Motion Picture Association (MPA) has agreed to require Meta to reduce references to the PG-13 rating when describing Instagram's teen accounts. This agreement comes after the MPA sent Meta a cease and desist order in May over its use of the rating. As part of the agreement, Meta must also display a disclaimer stating that its content moderation systems are different from that of a movie rating board. The agreement will go into effect on April 15th.
