Apple Home hardware chief leaves for Oura

Brian Lynch, Apple Home hardware chief, has left his position overseeing Apple's smart home hardware for a position at the smart ring maker Oura. This departure is seen as another blow for Apple, but it is uncertain how impact it will have on day-to-day operations. The news comes from Oura CEO Tom Hale, who also confirmed that Lynch will be joining Oura as a senior vice president of hardware engineering. Despite this, the departure reflects Lynch's desire for a higher position at another company and a potential setback for Apple's future smart home initiatives.
