Venezuela's acting President, Delcy Rodriguez, has announced that General Gustavo Gonzalez Lopez will replace General Vladimir Padrino as defense minister. This comes after Padrinos had been in the role for over 11 years. Rodriguez thanked Padarino for his service and said he would be given new responsibilities.
