Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground Making Broadway Producing Debut With ‘Proof’

Barack and Michelle Obama are making their Broadway producing debut with the revival of "Proof," through their Higher Ground production banner. Don Cheadle and Ayo Edebiri will make their Broadway debuts in David Auburn's Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning play. The production will be directed by Tony winner Thomas Kail and produced by Mike Bosner and Kail. The limited 16-week engagement will begin at the Booth Theatre on March 31 before its official opening night on April 16. This move comes after Higher Ground's successful work in film, television and podcasting.
