Ankara, Beijing agree to deepen cultural, tourism ties

The Turkish and Chinese governments have agreed to enhance cultural and tourism cooperation ahead of the 55th anniversary of their diplomatic relations. Turkish Deputy Culture and Tourism Minister, Gökhan Yazgı, met with his counterpart, Gao Qing, officials from arts institutions, media authorities, and tourism sector representatives. Key topics included performing arts collaborations, concerts, and joint projects between Turkish artists and Chinese artists and orchestras. Additionally, the delegation discussed broadcasting Turkish TV series and films on Chinese TV and digital platforms.
