Ralph Gunderman, Voice Artist and Letterman Show Contributor, Dies at 77

Ralph Gunderman, the voice artist and actor who served as an announcer on NBC's Dateline and contributed to comedy bits on the Late Show With David Letterman, has died at the age of 77 from complications from pneumonia. He moved to New York in 1981 and worked as a freelance national voice-over artist until his retirement in 2021. His voice was heard on thousands of commercials, promos and narrations throughout his four decades. Guinderman also served on the national boards of both SAG and AFTRA. He was born in 1948 and served as a deejay at WING in Dayton and WCUE.
