The New Orleans Police Department has arrested 36-year-old Victor Fernandez in connection to a Mid-City homicide investigation. The victim, 42-year old Jessyca Gelpi, was found unresponsive at a home in the 4000 block of Banks Street on July 10. The suspect was found driving the victim's vehicle, which had been reported stolen following the incident. Additionally, Fernandez was also wanted on outstanding warrants for aggravated burglary and domestic battery.
