UCLA guard Skyy Clark lost a tooth during the team's NCAA Tournament opener, which required a late-night emergency trip to the dentist. The dentist replaced the tooth with anesthesia and the removal of a nerve root before shaving what remained of Clark’s tooth to a nub. The tooth fragment was retrieved from the court, and Clark threw it away. The plan for Clark to wear a mouth guard when the team faces second-seeded UConn in the second round.
