The launch of a universal "Share to Mastodon" button on the social media platform has made it easier for sharing content from other websites. The widget allows users to connect their Mastodon account to any other server by connecting the user to the server they are on. Previously, this was not available due to the decentralized nature of the platform. The open-source code is also freely available for viewing.
