A broken water main in Gwinnett County, Georgia, caused traffic disruption and frustration for business owners who didn't have access to water. The work of crews lasted more than 12 hours and resulted in the closure of Buford Hwy from Sugarloaf Pkwy to South Scales road. The disruption led to cancellation of all appointments and staff had to haul bottled water to keep dogs hydrated. The incident occurred at a busy intersection and caused significant disruption to nearby Saint Monica Catholic Church's campus.
