Apple's CarPlay platform has received two new apps, ChatGPT and Google Meet, which are currently some of the most downloaded iPhone apps in the world. The first AI chatbot app to arrive on CarPlay since iOS 26.4 unlocked support for conversational voice apps. Additionally, Google Meet enables participants to participate in Meet calls through the CarPlay interface. The debut of these apps indicates a growing interest from third-party developers in supporting CarPlay.
