Rob and Michele Singer Reiner were remembered as'superheroes' at the Human Rights Campaign gala dinner in Los Angeles. The couple were found stabbed to death in their Brentwood home on December 14. Their son, Nick Reiner, has been charged with first-degree murder in their deaths. Kelley Robinson, president of the LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, recognized their work in the fight to legalize same-sex marriage when Prop 8 was passed in 2008. Lisa Kudrow and RuPaul presented Michael Patrick King with the Visibility Award.
