U.S. consumer prices rose by 3.3% from a year ago in March, in line with expectations, according to the Consumer Price Index (CPI), which was up from 2.4% in February. This rise is the first time the war's impact has been directly reflected in the impact of the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran, which has driven a rise in crude-oil prices and raised investor concerns about inflation.
