Daniel Harper has won his World Endurance Championship debut at the Six Hours of Imola in the LMGT3 class, alongside team-mates Parker Thompson of Canada and Anthony McIntosh. Despite a late charge from the #33 Corvette, the winning margin for the #69 BMW was just 0.265 seconds. This victory follows Harper's successful start to the season, which saw him win the Daytona 24 Hours for BMW and inherited a NLS victory after Max Verstappen's car was disqualified. However, Charlie Eastwood's TF Sport Corvette was forced to retire due to a technical issue. The next round of the championship will take place in Belgium on 9 May before the Le Mans 24 Hours.
