New York Yankees' Cam Schlittler was unimpressed by a comebacker that hit him in the first inning, causing him to injure his left calf. Despite initially being in trouble, he remained in the game and delivered six shutout innings, limiting the Brewers to two singles and striking out six. He lowered his ERA to a major league-best 1.35, making him now an opponent's average of just 1.25 through nine starts. Despite several mishaps on the mound, including a stumble off the mound in the third inning and a slip from his delivery during the game.
