The Los Gatos Anti-Racism Coalition (LGARC) has been recognized by the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors for its efforts to raise awareness of inequities and fight for concrete and anti-racist change. The group was part of a series of participatory art events, where residents would transcribe the entire U.S. Constitution by hand onto foam boards with ink pens. Dr. Jane Frommer of San Jose’s Almaden Valley Community Association was also recognized for her work creating conversations between residents and elected officials and her care for the environment. The LA Town Council endorsed a "Handwriting the Constitution" art project at its March 17 meeting.
