Barry Manilow, the 82-year-old singer, has revealed that he was diagnosed with lung cancer months after revealing it. The illness was discovered after he complained of pain in his hip and his doctor ordered an MRI, which he believes saved his life due to no symptoms. He underwent a lobectomy to remove the dot on his lung and spent several days in the ICU recovering. The singer credits his luckiness to avoid chemo, radiation, and other treatments. His latest single, "eschew", was released on the same day as his upcoming studio album.
