Two former Nubank executives, Vitor Olivier and Felipe Meneses, have raised $85m for Decade, an AI wealth adviser in Brazil. The company, which came out of stealth with money from Greenoaks, Benchmark and Diffusion, aims to create "a new generation of millionaires". The round, worth about R$440m, is unusually large for a company still on a waitlist with nothing shipped. Decade pairs each client with a senior human adviser and AI model that holds their full financial picture and remembers every conversation. Despite this, there is a gap in Brazilian investors as only about a third of Brazilians hold any investment and only 7% can retire from retirement.
