A Phoenix veteran man's small dog, Tinkerbell, was stolen from his backyard on May 7 and has been missing since. The dog, which has a severe heart condition and requires vital medication, was left behind in the yard. Since then, there have been multiple reports of Tinkerbell being seen with a woman, possibly homeless, near the I-17 and State Route 51 freeways. The family has been searching for the dog for several days and believes she is being used for panhandling.
