Space coast prepares for Artemis II launch and visitor surge

The launch of Artemis II is set for April 1, with communities across Florida's Space Coast preparing for a significant surge in visitors. The mission will send four astronauts on a 10-day journey around the far side of the moon, marking the first crewed flight of NASA's Artemis program. The launch will take place at 6:24 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, preparations are ongoing at Kennedy Space Center, with the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft expected to arrive soon.
