Denison University women's basketball coach Maureen Hirt has risen from a former player at Bloomington North to a national champion. Her team won the NCAA Division III national title in Salem, Va. Hirt was named conference player of the week after her team's victory over Washington & Lee. The team's progress will be followed by a trip to the NCAA Finals in 2020.
