Comedienne and award show hosting queen Nikki Glaser was voted off first on Dancing With the Stars' 27th season, which ended in 2018. Glaser described her elimination as "one of the most humiliating moments" of her life and would definitely do it again. She joined the season 27 cast and vied for the Mirrorball Trophy against stars such as Olympian Mary Lou Retton, Harry Potter star Evanna Lynch, NFL linebacker DeMarcus Ware, and radio personality Bobby Bones. Despite her elimination, Glaser said her elimination was "kind of like a rejection from America" as ABC was developing talent and "the dancing community." She also expressed her desire to return to the show and suggested a potential spinoff, Dancing With The Stars: The Next Pro, which will feature Robert Irwin and his mother, "Queen of Latin" Shirley Ballas.
