The upcoming prequel movie, Sunrise on the Reaping, is set to revolutionize the Hunger Games, promising to change Panem as a whole. The movie jumps back to the Second Quarter Quell and focuses on Haymitch Abernathy, the only other District 12 victor in history. The trailer includes numerous cameos from key characters including President Snow (Ralph Fiennes), future Head Gamemaker and secret Rebel spy Plutarch Heavensbee (Jesse Plemons). The movie premieres in theaters on November 20, 2026.
