Ex Jets, Giants coach Dave Merritt arrested for domestic battery

Former NFL linebacker, Dave Merritt, has been arrested for domestic battery in Kansas, the night before the NFL Draft. He is accused of causing bodily harm to a daughter and has been released on bail. The charges were not disclosed. The Kansas City Chiefs are aware of the arrest and are looking into the case.
