Waikiki murder suspect found mentally fit to stand trial

A judge has ruled that murder suspect Ishmael Piula Luavasa is mentally fit to proceed in court. He is accused of beating 50-year-old Christian Coronel without provocation in front of the Waikiki Beachside Hostel in November. Coronel died four days later.
