Every Opening and Closing This Week: Colfax Doubles Down on Dim Sum and More

The opening and closing of Ma's Kitchen on Colfax Avenue has seen a significant increase in diners, with the owners of sushi spot Okinawa closing the space in order to expand Ma’s Kitchen. The new space will be more upscale and will celebrate its grand opening on March 14. Other notable openings include Ebisu Sushi and Ramen Star, a new version of Ramenstar, and a new location of Sukiya Ramen in Englewood. In Thornton, Ohio-born ice cream brand Handel's has opened its second Colorado location and at Denver International Airport, Fat Sully’�s Pizza, is now located in the renovated Concourse A food court. Other restaurants and bars opened or closed this week include Poulette Bakeshop in Parker, Reunion Bakery in the Source, and The Mighty Burger in Arvada.
