Martha Apolot, a 21-year-old Ugandan mother-of-one, is facing challenges in her struggle to control her eight-year old son, Aaron, who has an undiagnosed disability that prevents him from walking, talking, eating solid foods or holding up his head without support. Despite this, Martha's pregnancy caused an immediate rift within her family and she ran away from home after being lured from her schoolyard by a man who raped her at the age of 13.
