Artist Michael Jackson has created a sculpture of a pair of "The Nurse's Hands" representing the time and care and dedication of the doctors and nurses at the Royal Cornwall Hospital. The PPE was used to represent the hospital's efforts to recycle and reuse materials. The sculpture was created to reflect the hardships medical staff faced during the pandemic. The artist believes that the use of PPE reflects the importance of the institution in modern times.
