Part of Wynn team working on UAE project evacuated when Iran war hit

Some members of the design and development team working on Wynn's $5.1 billion Al Marjan Island resort project were evacuated from the United Arab Emirates when Iran attacked Dubai. However, construction is ongoing and the resort is scheduled to open in 2027. Jacqui Krum, executive vice president, general counsel and manager for Wynn, was approved for licensing by the Nevada Gaming Commission. The commission also approved licensing for Carlos Castro, president, secretary and treasurer of Resorts World Las Vegas, Vladimira Mircheva, and Bally's Corp. to coordinate a project attached to the Major League Baseball stadium under construction.
