Governor JB Pritzker to visit Kankakee Co. as tornado damage cleanup continues

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker will visit Kankakee County, where he will be briefed by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and assess the storm damage. Those without living in the area are asked to leave the area to allow for emergency and utility crews to work. The Red Cross has been stationed at a Red Cross shelter and supplies are available for those seeking food, water, and other cleaning supplies. School District 111 schools remain closed and the district is offering free breakfast, lunch and dinner.
